I love blogging about Malaysian food because that’s what I’m most familiar with (being a Malaysian of course), so I’m really excited to bring you guys one of the newer Malaysian food offerings in Dubai - Peach Blossom Teahouse Restaurant!

I would say that a lot of the Japanese restaurants in Dubai are a bit more on the fusion side - namely Roka, Zuma, 3 Fils, & Goldfish (many more examples, but these are what pop into my head). I would say that 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant is probably up there in terms of being one of the more authentic Japanese cuisine spots in Dubai. Here’s what I thought of it!

Really excited to share with you guys the Time Out “Best Thai” restaurant 2022, Cafe Isan at JLT! The food is super delicious and authentic - and a fairly reasonable price point (for a “best Thai” restaurant in a hotel)

As you will see across a lot of my blog posts, I generally write about restaurants that I have positive reviews for. However, at times, like in this case, I NEED to share certain negative stories about restaurants - just so people know about these issues, and restaurants can either respond appropriately for next time or continue being disappointing.

Kojaki is a brand new Korean-Japanese concept popping up in the Expo by highly distinguished chef Chef Kim Jin Chul (Jimmy). This is one of many pilot restaurants looking to open a branch in Dubai after the Expo concludes at the end of March.

3 Fils is the super trendy spot in town right now, having won the top spot on MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants list for 2022. And it is absolutely deserved. The restaurant serves up super yummy food at a fairly reasonable price point that everyone can enjoy.

Up on the blog this week is one of the newer additions to the Dubai food scene - Sushi Samba @ St Regis! This is a Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant that has already welcomed the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Sheikh Hamdan.

This week on the blog, I wanna share some of the most authentic Japanese cuisine experiences I’ve had since I’ve had in Dubai, and it is none other than Tomo! This is a comfy Japanese restaurant near Wafi Mall (Raffles Hotel is connected to Wafi Mall).

Today I’m sharing the sister restaurant to Zuma (which I blogged about previously) - a restaurant that I’m a big fan of. I would say as a straight comparison, Zuma is the more upbeat place with everything happening quickly and Roka is the more cozy/comfy place.

A humble spot for Asian food at a cheaper price point is none other than Daikan, with their assortment of ramens and titbits.
