A quick search of the popular chicken rice spots in Petaling Jaya / Kuala Lumpur and you’ll likely see Shuang Siew, over at Taman Paramount. It’s a spot that I seriously see recommended everywhere from Reddit to lots of different food blogs. Given I had a bit of a break over the long weekend, I decided to give it a go! Here’s what I thought of Shuang Siew’s Chicken Rice!

Quite frankly, I can’t think of many urban food legends quite like the LSE Fried Rice. I had heard about it from friends raving about it - usually more of a way to sober up after a night out on the town - and I was absolutely intrigued.

Today I’m sharing another find on the Burpple app, Toast & Roast SS2 Petaling Jaya, and my oh my, this place is a pretty darn great place to go for a nice hearty breakfast.
