If you frequent my blog, you would probably know that I do go to Sri Hartmas quite a bit for some food hunts, so when I saw a recommendation from IG influencer @qiwiie on a spot in Sri Hartamas that I hadn’t even heard of, I was a bit intrigued and had to have a try. This is what I thought of Vagabond, Sri Hartamas!

Definitely wouldn’t describe myself as someone who has Omakase regularly, but the fact that I can tell you that I’ve been to Sushi Oribe twice is probably testament to the fact that I think that it is great value! (just for reference, I can’t think of more than 2 other Omakases in Kuala Lumpur that I’ve tried).

Wanted to share a pretty neat cafe I’ve been to lately. It’s a cafe that I really liked everything, from the food to the vibes to even the service, so here it is: Oomph Bukit Jalil! There’s another branch over at Petaling Jaya, but this is referring to the Bukit Jalil branch.

I think after trying so much Genting Pork Belly, when I made a stopover at Genting Highlands, I HAD to at least try some Genting Pork Belly. Perhaps the funniest part? I didn’t actually know why it was actually called Genting Pork Belly. I just assumed it was some pork sourced in Genting itself.

Was looking for a lunch spot for my girlfriend's birthday lunch recently and was scratching my head on where to bring her. Then I stumbled along Entier while looking for a place, and I definitely think they didn’t disappoint. Their weekend set lunch is definitely something that I would recommend for a lot of different occasions!

Coming to you with more Desa Sri Hartamas eats! This time, it is Dubu Dubu, a cozy restaurant in Hartamas Square serving up homely tofu dishes. If you’ve tried Buldojang - another very popular Korean restaurant in the area - it actually has the same owner and Buldojang is actually located the level below!

Nestled in The Starhill and having a beautiful view of Pavillion (and a peek at KLCC), Come True Cafe is one of those Insta-worthy cafes that is worth checking out! With their selection of beautiful food dishes and unique drinks, it’s a spot to consider the next time you make a visit over to Bukit Bintang!

Suddenly felt like having Bak Kut Teh over the weekend, so was about to pop over to my usual spot in Sri Hartamas, but I just had this temptation to look for some eating spots in Kepong - and lo and behold, I stumbled upon a bib gourmand receipient - Hin Kee Bak Kut Teh!

This will be an updated post for Table & Apron in lieu of a huge meal I had here with colleagues. Had one from pre-COVID (Jan 2 2020), so it’s been a while, but it’s still a restaurant I love, and a go to for small get-togethers, so here’s the update, with lots more food for show, but keeping the post a bit shorter, just because you all already probably know how much I love this place!

Took a mini detour on my dating adventures quite recently - stopping by at the ever so popular Team Udon! Been seeing it quite a bit on my Instagram stories lately, so it was a place that I wanted to check out since I was exploring the Dataran Merdeka area.

Coming to you this week from the Damansara Jaya area, this time it is LI, or 力 in Chinese. This was for a teambuilding kind of lunch for my company, so this round I was responsible for picking out the venue - and this is what I went with in the end. This was what we ate for 3 (of course we tried to maximise our budget haha, so by no means is this a normal 3 person meal).
