Everyone has a different favourite, so here’s just my way of saying, I want to join the conversation! Over the past few weeks, I’ve tried the four most talked about Nasi Lemaks in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur to crown my best Nasi Lemak, her’s what I thought.

Finally back in Malaysia after a couple of years in Dubai, and was trying to think of a place to eat at Publika, and me and my friend had a meal at none-other than Jibril!

I really love writing about brunch offerings because there’s so much to talk about! This post will go into the brunch offering (or “Buranchi”) of Reif Kushiyaki! This is a multi-award-winning restaurant by Chef Reif Othman (a Singaporean). This restaurant is a recipient of the Michelin Bib Gourmand in Dubai for 2022, so I’m super excited to share their brunch offering with you guys!

Today I’m sharing a pretty neat breakfast/branch spot in Eco Botanic serving up delicious Malaysian food for you guys to feat on! From nasi lemak to mee siam and kueh-kueh, this place is a great option to get your breakfast fix!

I’ve heard a lot of stories about this 18 year old Nasi Lemak place and I just couldn’t resist the temptation to explore and I guess find out a bit more about it. There aren’t too many English references for it, so I thought that putting this up would be helpful to people eating in the area!

I’ve already talked about Toast House in Eco Botanic, but today I’ll be talking about Toast n Toast Eco Botanic! This is yet another one of those Old Town Kopitiam style shops serving up toast, as well as main courses on their menu.

Today I’m sharing a restaurant in the Eco Botanic area! I tried out Toast House, hidden away in a little corner, and took a dive into the food they have. They offer kopitiam style food, and offer a cheaper option for people looking for a quick lunch in the Eco Botanic area.

If there was one place I would bring tourist friends in Kuala Lumpur (well, Petaling Jaya is the same ball park), I will always make sure to bring them to Village Park. Put simply, BEST nasi lemak in Kuala Lumpur for me, period.

Nasi Lemak might not really be the first thing you think of when you think of Kluang, but this is a pretty famous restaurant in Kluang, attracting crowds from all over.
