Nestled in central KL is a quirky and colourful cafe overlooking the KL skyline - Kooky Plate. It’s a restaurant from the same family of restaurants that has brought Kooky Cream to KL - known for their desserts. Here’s what I thought from my short visit there over the weekend.

Wanted to share a pretty neat cafe I’ve been to lately. It’s a cafe that I really liked everything, from the food to the vibes to even the service, so here it is: Oomph Bukit Jalil! There’s another branch over at Petaling Jaya, but this is referring to the Bukit Jalil branch.

Been a while since I’ve been back in Singapore, and one of the meals I had there was at Monti, for their “Colapranzo” or their version of a business lunch / brunch for the weekdays. The main attraction of Monti is definitely its location, overlooking the iconic Marina Bay Sands hotel.

Seaside town means seafood is definitely a must - especially if it is caught fresh! So this is one of those options for you to consider when at Brighton! (don’t do what I did and order the mixed grill haha!)

Pretty, minimalist and yummy is probably how I would describe Off Day Cafe Eco Botanic. This is a pretty nice place to come for your late breakfast meals (or brunches) or just for some dessert after dinner.
