Hidden away in a corner of Sri Hartamas is A’Dough Atelier, a Sourdough specialist bringing the love of pastries and sourdough back into the quiet neighbourhood. This is a relatively new spot that is attracting long queues for weekend coffee and pastry runs, becoming a staple for a typical Mont Kiara brunch!

When you talk about viral Korean food in Sri Hartamas, I really cannot think of one Korean food spot that has gone this viral in Sri Hartamas in a while. I even think I’ve seen this place more than Busan Zip and Gamtan on social media, and that’s saying a lot! This is Dong Baek, a new Korean spot in Sri Hartamas specializing in pressure cooker dishes and unique Korean alcohol offerings.

If you frequent my blog, you would probably know that I do go to Sri Hartmas quite a bit for some food hunts, so when I saw a recommendation from IG influencer @qiwiie on a spot in Sri Hartamas that I hadn’t even heard of, I was a bit intrigued and had to have a try. If you’ve tried Buldojang - another very popular Korean restaurant in the area - it actually has the same owner and Buldojang is actually located the level below!

Being someone who lives in the Mont Kiara area, I can’t help but always stare at this restaurant and its endless queue and wonder - is this worth the hype? Over the weekend, I finally had a chance to try it, and here’s what I thought of it!

The restaurant, branchild of the restaurant-eur/author sisters, Mei is a cozy restaurant in the bustling Sri Hartamas area serving up food to a hip young crowd. Its seats are nearly always fully taken up, and is thriving in the Mont Kiara area.
