Have had my eye on this one for quite a while. I think that this is in a similar category to Lacher Patisserie - with the addition of some proper lunch options. In short, I think it is a really nice spot to hang out and have a chat, with very nice pastries and drinks to complete the vibes!

If you frequent my blog, you would probably know that I do go to Sri Hartmas quite a bit for some food hunts, so when I saw a recommendation from IG influencer @qiwiie on a spot in Sri Hartamas that I hadn’t even heard of, I was a bit intrigued and had to have a try. This is a new Thai spot in Bangsar that I would say is on the more reasonable end price wise. Been seeing it on Instagram here and there, so I thought that I should pay it a visit! In an already competitive Korean food haven in Sri Hartmas, one new Korean BBQ restaurant has caught my eye lately. It is none other than Dae Sam Sik Dang. On the same row as Busan Zip (click right on over for that review), this is another restaurant that is garnering attention and really long queues.

Hailing from Japan, Sushiro is the country’s leading kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi chain, offering a variety of fresh sushi dishes along with special seasonal options—making every visit to Sushiro a unique experience!

I think after trying so much Genting Pork Belly, when I made a stopover at Genting Highlands, I HAD to at least try some Genting Pork Belly. Perhaps the funniest part? I didn’t actually know why it was actually called Genting Pork Belly. I just assumed it was some pork sourced in Genting itself.

Coming to you with more Desa Sri Hartamas eats! This time, it is Dubu Dubu, a cozy restaurant in Hartamas Square serving up homely tofu dishes. If you’ve tried Buldojang - another very popular Korean restaurant in the area - it actually has the same owner and Buldojang is actually located the level below!

Nestled in The Starhill and having a beautiful view of Pavillion (and a peek at KLCC), Come True Cafe is one of those Insta-worthy cafes that is worth checking out! With their selection of beautiful food dishes and unique drinks, it’s a spot to consider the next time you make a visit over to Bukit Bintang!

Suddenly felt like having Bak Kut Teh over the weekend, so was about to pop over to my usual spot in Sri Hartamas, but I just had this temptation to look for some eating spots in Kepong - and lo and behold, I stumbled upon a bib gourmand receipient - Hin Kee Bak Kut Teh!
