Lee Seungri’s (however you may feel about him due to his complicated situation at the moment) - of Big Bang acclaim - ramen chain has been around in Pavilion for quite some time now, so I thought that while I was nearby, it was a perfect chance to try it out!

Hello peeps! Got yet another restaurant review coming at you guys and this time it is The Pokemist by RSVP! This is a pretty popular chain selling poke bowls in Melaka, Muar, KL, etc. so I was pretty excited to try this restaurant out!

Really excited to share a restaurant, this one being a RIDICULOUSLY good deal! This is a new restaurant around 5-10 minutes drive away from EduCity, so this is a fantastic place for students to get a cheap Japanese meal!

I would say that since Sprout JB closed down, there aren’t too many more options around the JB area for a fine dining experience. But now you can look no further than 初 or Initial, brainchild of Chef Koh Chin Hong.

Continuing along with my food adventures around Eco Botanic, today’s blog is on The Banana Leaf Kitchen! This is actually a restaurant that is part of the DCG Group (same group as Spice Kitchen & Marco Polo Bukit Indah).

This week’s food blog shares Meet Each Other - or MEO, as the display outside says - which is a Western restaurant with a really similar concept to An Mour Cafe (which is also coming to Eco Botanic).

Been exploring to find some new restaurants that I haven’t tried, and this is one that I have been wanting to try for the longest time. I actually saw this on Favepay, which is a really nice place to find new restaurants!

I’ll be the first to tell you that I probably should have healthier eating habits. The fact that I try the newest McDonalds AND KFC promotions is perhaps a good indicator of that. That in mind, this is a restaurant that I actually REALLY like that serves up really nice vegetarian food.

Guoma Express is a steamboat -esque restaurant with a pretty unique characteristic - you have a small steamboat in front of you just for yourself! No more fighting with friends for which soup and dishes you want inside your dishes, this place is for all those people who like slightly stranger combinations but are shy to ask for it! XD

A really cool restaurant that I’m sharing today - Mid Valley Southkey’s French restaurant Cafe de Poulet! This is honestly a really homely restaurant that I’m a really big fan of, so I’m pretty excited to share this restaurant with you guys!

Another addition to the already crowded Eco Botanic space, Oven & Fried Chicken is a restaurant serving up chicken in various forms (fried, oven baked, etc.) and loads of other traditional Korean dishes (Jajjang Noodles, Kimchi Jeon, Bibimbap, etc.). Here’s what I thought of it!

As always with new McDonald’s promotion, I’m back to ruin my health with the brand, spanking new Sweet Chilli Fish Burger from Malaysia. Here’s what I thought of the burger!

For how big & grand it is, I feel surprised this isn’t mentioned up there among the top cafe hopping spots in Johor Bahru, so I would definitely say that this is one of those ‘hidden gems’ of Johor Bahru!

Hello peoples! Coming back yet again with another really nice restaurant in Eco Botanic. This time it’s Lemon Tree! This is a chain of restaurants that has been popular in a few different spots in Johor, but it’s the first time I’ve personally had it, so here’s my review!

My favourite Korean restaurant in the Johor Bahru area, Sisters BBQ is a great place for Korean BBQ without the fuss of smelling like barbecue after! Not to mention the excellent tasting food here, this is one of my personal top picks in the Bukit Indah area!

Pretty new to the Bukit Indah/Nusa Bestari area (I believe they opened March 2019) is Heng Heng Western Food, which is a nice place to get a decently priced meal! Here’s what I had on my latest visit!

To have a cheap food option in this area is an absolute DREAM COME TRUE for me. Yuan Eatery is a really nice addition to the Sunway Iskandar area for all you ‘Zhap Fan’ or budget eaters!

In the next Worth the Hype/What the Hell, I review a new bubble tea crazy sweeping the nation, Chicha San Chen (吃茶三千 - which directly translates to eat tea 3000 - but please do note that my Chinese is absolutely terrible, so it definitely could be something else).

A slightly shorter food blog, this time being of Frozen by Ken in Bangsar KL! This is a dessert spot (I believe they do brunch as well) which specialises in unique artisan ice creams that I really enjoy.

In yet another edition of Bibz tries to appreciate fine dining, I present to you Meta Restaurant, brought to you by Chef Sun Kim. This Michelin starred (2017, 2018 and hopefully 2019) restaurant serves up French food with an Asian twist!
